Services we offer
Pre-Adoption Services
We can help find the perfect pup for you and your family. Whether you're looking for your next service dog, or just want a companion that fits your lifestyle, we want to help! We offer breeder evaluation, temperament testing, and can even accompany you to the breeder/shelter to provide a non-biased perspective. (Please note that breeders and shelters must be in Massachusetts for us to visit them.)
Private training sessions
Get one-on-one attention from our qualified professionals. We can meet you at your home, an agreed-upon public location, our facility, or even meet virtually using Google Meets. These sessions are client-lead, making them extremely customizable to you and your dog's needs.
Field Trips
Is there a specific setting that you find challenging to be in? We can take your dog and train in that environment for you. We can either be the primary handler for the dog while you watch, or we can train your dog solo when you are unable to join us. Our field trips can be between 1 and 3 hours long. We will provide lots of breaks and fun play time in between training activities.
Group C/T/S Classes
We offer three levels of group classes specifically designed for comfort, therapy, and service dogs in training (C/T/S). These provide guidance on everything from the difference between a service dog and therapy dog to taking trips to public access locations. Group instruction is affordable and provides connection with other handlers without detracting from the quality of our training.
Please note that we do require an evaluation or previous training with us before beginning level 1 of our C/T/S program.
Group classes unique to age group
We understand how different the needs of a puppy are to those of an adult dog, and even an adolescent dog. For that reason, we have three introductory level training courses specific to your dog's age. We can hone in on the needs and behaviors specific to each stage of life for your dog.
Puppy essentials: Under 16 weeks of age
Teen dog survival: 16 weeks-2 years
Adult manners: Over 1.5 years
Canine Good Citizen Tests
Our trainer Louca is an experienced CGC evaluator. The CGC is a great way to prove that your dog is a well-mannered member of human society. We provide a group class designed to prepare you to pass all three Canine Good Citizen tests. Students get one free CGC test. If you already feel prepared to show off your dog's manners, we also offer "a la carte" CGC, CGCA, and CGCU evaluations.
Extra Fun Group Classes
Manners are important, but so is having fun! We offer a variety of group classes designed for bonding and enrichment.
Boredom Busters: Mental stimulation and exercises to get your dog's energy out from the comfort of your own home. Great for high-energy and intelligent dogs!
Trick Title Class: Work towards a CGC trick dog title, or just have fun teaching your dog cute stuff! This class is very customizable to our group, so feel free to come with your ideas of what you'd like to learn.
Senior Dog Social: Keep your dog feeling young in their sunset years! This class provides gentle exercise specifically designed to be elder-friendly, as well as ways to keep your older pup's mind sharp.
Off the lead!: Many people dream of letting their dog frolic leash-free through our New England forests. This class teaches you how to do that safely and responsibly. Keeping with our ethics, we teach these skills without ever using a remote training collar.
Not in the state? Almost all of our offerings can be taught virtually!
